DR Exercise: Resources Over Time

An enterprise disaster recovery invocation may activate 100’s of plans, incorporating 10’s of thousands of tasks and 100+ responders collaborating over 72 hours to achieve effective service restoration.

One of the challenges for the Incident Commander is scheduling resources for achieving the desired RTO.  Based on the resource allocation done in the planning phase, the Incident Commander can schedule resource requirements over time. What is the earliest start for the Windows team and how many Windows team members are required in each phase of the recovery? Does your planning (and plans) support this?

PS: This will also help the Incident Commander decide how many pizzas to order for lunch on each day!
